This report is based on data from the Italian Survey on Consumer Expectations (ISCE) conducted between October 2023 and July 2024. It examines Italian consumers' expectations regarding key macroeconomic variables, such as GDP, inflation, unemployment, interest rates, and housing prices.
Findings indicate a gradual improvement in economic sentiment, with reduced uncertainty across all variables. Notably, the expected GDP contraction narrowed over time, inflation and unemployment forecasts declined, and housing price growth expectations remained stable, reflecting improved confidence in the economic outlook.
